In addition to the
Yogilates classes in top health clubs, yoga studios,
and corporate wellness programs, Yogilates is now a recognized
brand name that has caught the eye of the media and health
and fitness world as few exercise trends have before.
Vogue, Elle, Jane, Bazaar, Mode, YM, CosmoGirl, Child,
Weight Watchers Magazine, the New York Times and the
Village Voice have all run features on Yogilates, and
both IDEA magazine and Women's Sports and Fitness listed
Yogilates as one of the top new trends in fitness.
ABC News has also covered the story
and Lifetime Live TV did a five-minute piece about
Yogilates and its therapeutic benefits for back pain
sufferers. Celebrity endorsements include super model
Christy Turlington and Broadway and film star Alan
Cummings. There is also its presence on the internet
in the form of this website that receives over 300,000
hits a week.
Lifetime Live TV did a story last
month on back pain and reported on Jonathan and how Yogilates
can help prevent and relieve many back problems. Liz
Naylor interviewed Jonathan for the 5 minute segment
and took shots of Jonathan teaching his class. Many of
Jonathan's students were asked what they got from Yogilates
and the feedback was very wonderful.
Coming soon on Discovery Health "She
TV" Magee Hickey has produced a fabulous 3 minute
segment on how Yogilates helps a stressed out TV producer
release her worries and get back in touch with her body
and spirit.
The E-zines the Daily Candy and Fashion
Wire Daily have run features on Yogilates.com and it
has been reviewed by Efit.com and CBSNews.com. The mass
media, fashion, and health and fitness world seem to
understand that the combination of these two disciplines
makes sense, and they appreciate its appeal to all people
interested in health and fitness. |
